Head-on Collision Leaves One Dead in Osceola County
At least one person was killed Thursday in a head-on collision in the Orlando area. The fiery crash happened on State Road 60, about three miles west of Yeehaw Junction near Mae Bass Road, in remote Osceola County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a five door Lexus was driving east on State Road 60 when it crossed the center lane, hitting a westbound tractor trailer – a head-on collision that caused the Lexus to flip and burst into flames. Orlando Man Dies in Four Car Crash
A crash in Orange County on Wednesday has left one 30-year-old man from Orlando dead and several others with injuries. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident took place at 6:30 on Wednesday evening. The cars involved were headed eastbound on State Road 408, close to the popular road’s 18th mile marker. The statement issued by the Florida Highway Patrol fleshes out the story somewhat, although there is still an ongoing investigation into the precise reasons behind this deadly accident. Heavy Rains Lead to Increase in Orlando Car Accidents
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say they expect to see an increase in Orlando car crashes following the heavy rains that have hit Central Florida in recent weeks. Just last Monday, within a window of just four hours, the FHP reported responding to over 100 automobile accidents in Orange County – the majority of which were caused by the slippery road conditions caused by the day’s ongoing rainfall. Multi-Car Accident Shuts Down Lanes around Orlando International Airport
An accident that took place on Saturday resulted in numerous delays in the traffic flow around the Orlando International Airport. Although details about the accident are scant, it seems as though the crash occurred close to the airport’s northern exit. It was about 12:00 in the afternoon when this happened. Infant Child In Critical Condition after Orlando Crash
A car accident took place in Orlando on Tuesday night that has left a 19-week-old baby in critical condition. The crash happened close to 9:45 in the evening at the intersection of West Washington Street and North Orange Blossom Trail. According to the spokesperson for the Orlando Fire Department, Ashley Papagni, the crash involved two vehicles, although it is not known whether or not either of the vehicles contained any additional passengers or if either of the two drivers were injured in the accident. Speeding Driver Causes Fatal Accident in Orange County
Kenrick Moss, a 24-year-old, was driving down State Road 528 in Orange County at 8:40 on Friday Morning. For reasons that are not clear, Moss, who was behind the wheel of a 2001 Honda, was driving at 92mph, far exceeding the speed limit for this stretch of road. While going this speed, Moss drove past a Florida Highway Patrol officer who was in the process of checking the speed of passing drivers. Three Killed, One Injured in Northeast Florida SUV Accident
On the afternoon of Saturday, December 26th, 2015, three individuals were killed when their SUV crashed into a tree. According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, 45-year-old Robert Myers’ Ford Bronco SUV was traveling through Baker County in northeast Florida when it began to swerve. The erratic movement of the SUV took the Bronco off the highway, where it then hit a pine tree and caused Myers and his three passengers to be thrown from the vehicle. After the vehicle crashed, the SUV caught fire.

Lake City Crash Claims the Life of One Man over the Holiday Weekend
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, an accident near Lake City claimed the life of a 41-year-old Orange Park man. The man was driving in a Ford pickup truck with his wife and two sons westbound on Interstate 10. The Ford was in the outside lane as it passed a rest area where a Subaru was attempting to merge onto the interstate. At the same time, a Ford Mustang was traveling on the inside land also westbound along I-10.
