Police Chase From Orange-Seminole County Ends in Crash
Orange County deputies on duty this past Friday became involved in a chase that spanned several counties throughout Florida and ended in a collision between a car and a fence. One Dead in Crash At Orange Blossom Trail Intersection
A collision between a Toyota van and a Chevy Impala at the intersection of Old 441 and Orange Blossom Trail this past Thursday (June 21st) resulted in one death and several injuries as well as an investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol that remains underway even at the time of this writing. What seems clear is that the incident happened close to 4:00 in the afternoon, after a woman from Mount Dora who was driving the Impala down Old 441 attempted to make a turn from this road onto Orange Blossom Trail. Man Crashes Car into Port Orange Lake After Dispute
A marital dispute that happened in Port Orange this past Wednesday resulted in a car crashing into a small lake after the man driving the truck became so agitated when his partner told him she wanted a divorce that he decided such a course of action was the only one worth taking. According to the report from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, the couple in question were inside of a pickup truck and driving down Reed Canal Road at close to 2:00 on Wednesday morning when the man’s partner, an unnamed woman, told him that she wanted to legally separate. A spokesperson for the Florida Highway Patrol issued a statement last Wednesday in reference to an incident that took place close to Ocoee in Orange County that resulted in one individual suffering from minor injuries and nearly 4,000 people without power to their homes. Two Children Injured in Rear-End Collision in Cocoa
Several Mondays ago, an incident took place in Cocoa that resulted in two children being injured. Police with the Cocoa Beach Police Department issued a statement shortly after the event which detailed all of the concrete facts of the case as well as highlighted the aspects of the case which are still under investigation by the authorities. I75 Car vs Alligator Crash Leaves Woman, Gator Injured
While driving along Florida’s Interstate 75 a female driver suddenly saw a nine foot alligator cross in front of her. With no time to react, she hit the gator, causing the 34 year old driver to lose control of her vehicle. Her SUV flipped over multiple times before coming to a rest on its side. Man Was Ejected From Vehicle, Run Over and Killed in Orlando
Shortly after 12:30 on Thursday morning a 25-year-old Kissimmee resident named Matthew Adams was driving his 2016 Volkswagen in the westbound lanes of I-4, near Orlando and the Beachline, when he suddenly swerved out of his lane and crashed into a 2001 Ford SUV. According to the Florida Highway Patrol’s spokesperson, Sgt. Kim Montes, the SUV was being driven by an unnamed 28-year-old man from Lake Mary. The unexpected impact between the two cars caused both drivers to lose all control of their vehicles. Both cars began to flip across the highway, sending debris and glass flying through the air. Speeding Driver Causes Fatal Accident in Orange County
Kenrick Moss, a 24-year-old, was driving down State Road 528 in Orange County at 8:40 on Friday Morning. For reasons that are not clear, Moss, who was behind the wheel of a 2001 Honda, was driving at 92mph, far exceeding the speed limit for this stretch of road. While going this speed, Moss drove past a Florida Highway Patrol officer who was in the process of checking the speed of passing drivers.
