AAA Report Concludes Cloudy and Yellow Headlights Offer Decreased Visibility

The American Automobile Association, more commonly known as AAA, recently released a statement regarding headlights & auto accident prevention that should be an item of interest to anyone who travels along the road. This report, released sometime in early December, concerns some new test results that the organization compiled relating to headlights that are cloudy or yellow-tinted.

15 Injured after Disney Buses Collide

A collision involving two Disney buses taking tourists through the Epcot toll place on Tuesday, December 11th, resulted in over a dozen people being treated for injuries. Reports from the scene of the bus accident suggest both of the buses involved were traveling eastward down Epcot Center Drive, which itself lies within the boundaries of Walt Disney World.

Speed Limit Reduction along State Road 50 after Death of Cyclist

Five months ago, a 49-year-old was riding a bicycle to work along State Road 50 in Orange County when he was struck by a passing motorist. The injuries that this person sustained as a result of this bicycle accident were extremely serious, and despite the best efforts of the first responders and other medical staff, the cyclist died as a result of the crash.

Accident in Kissimmee Leaves Motorcyclist Dead

A deadly motorcycle accident that happened along Vine Street in the Osceola County city of Kissimmee resulted in the death of one individual and the continued investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol into the incident. Preliminary reports relating to the crash suggest that the incident was the result of a collision between a motorcycle and something else, although the vagueness of the reports made it unclear whether or not the crash was between the motorcycle and another car or if the motorcycle perhaps collided with something that was not a vehicle.

Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Orange City Crosswalk

A spokesperson for Orange City recently issued a statement regarding the death of a pedestrian within Orange City that happened after they were struck by a car on Saturday, October 20th. According to this official statement, the victim was a 49-year-old woman from Orange City who was walking along either U.S. Highway 17/92 or New York Avenue at close to 9:00 at night when they reached the intersection of these two roadways and decided to try and cross the street.

Marion County Deputy Badly Injured in Single-Car Crash

A deputy working with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office was involved in a severe car accident on Sunday, October 14th. The deputy was inside of a patrol vehicle and traveling down Southeast 38th Street inside of Marion County when the incident happened. Official reports provide most of the information relating to the crash; however, because the crash involved a police officer it is likely going to be some time before the full details relating to the incident are released to the public.

Bus With Nine Students Crashes into Private Pool in Orange County
