Two Killed after Car Overturns in Ocala National Forest

Wetherington and Livengood were traveling in Wetherington’s Chrysler 300 through the Ocala National Forest this past Friday when something occurred to cause the car they were in to crash. According to the report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the pair were traveling east along Northeast 14 Street Road when the incident occurred at close to 5:50 in the evening. Read the rest »

Fatal T-Bone Crash at Lake County Intersection

A report from the Florida Highway Patrol has put forth the facts relating to an accident that took place at the intersection of County Road 42 and Third Street this past Friday in Lake County.  The report indicates that the accident took place in the mid-afternoon, close to 3:15, and involved a Dodge van and a Jeep SUV.  While neither of the names of the individuals involved were released to the public, the report did include plenty of pertinent information that gives us the majority of pertinent details.  Read the rest »

Fatal Head-On Collision in Osceola County

Early on Saturday morning, the 29-year-old Van Pelt and the 43-year-old Higgins were traveling down State Road 60 inside of Van Pelt’s car.  It is believed that Vanpelt, a resident of Zephyrhills, was behind the wheel of his Dodge as the two men made their way down the road.  The primary issue in the men’s trajectory was that they were driving down the road in the wrong direction.  Read the rest »

Two Children Injured in Rear-End Collision in Cocoa

Several Mondays ago, an incident took place in Cocoa that resulted in two children being injured. Police with the Cocoa Beach Police Department issued a statement shortly after the event which detailed all of the concrete facts of the case as well as highlighted the aspects of the case which are still under investigation by the authorities. What we do know is that at some time shortly before 11:00 in the morning, an unnamed woman was behind the wheel of a Chevy Impala and driving the car down the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 1, just inside of Cocoa. Osceola County Head-On Crash leaves One Dead

A horrific accident in Osceola County a little over a week ago resulted in one death and four other injuries, two of them serious. A report from the Florida Highway Patrol recounts how a GMC SUV was headed westbound on State Road 60, close to 2:30 in the afternoon, when the driver, the 43-year-old Santana, lost control of the vehicle. Orange County High-Speed Chase Ends in Crash

December 17, 2017

Early last Monday morning, a deputy with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office was patrolling State Road 408, close to Old Winter Garden Road, when they attempted to make a routine traffic stop on a vehicle that was not described in the preliminary report. When the deputy activated their emergency lights, the driver of the other car hit the gas and drove away at a rate which almost lost the pursing deputy. Read the rest »

Three Dead after Multi-Car Crash in Osceola County

A Friday evening crash in Osceola County has resulted in the death of at least three people after one of several cars involved erupted in flame. According to the initial report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash took place close to 9:20 at night at the intersection of Peavine Road and State Road 60. Shortly before the crash, a four-door Honda, being driven by the 22-year-old Kissimmee resident Garcia, was headed eastbound on State Road 60. In front of the Honda was a Jeep. Headed westbound at this same time was a Chevrolet Pickup truck, and behind the pickup truck was a box truck. Read the rest »

Man Crashes Car Through Wall of Kissimmee Flea Market

A car crash involving a single vehicle in Kissimmee Florida on Friday morning is currently under investigation by authorities as they seek to discover exactly what happened to cause a vehicle parked in the lot of Vine Street’s 192 Flea Market to crash into the building itself.  Pictures from the site show a white Toyota sedan poking out of the flea market’s wall while several members of the fire department stand by and assess the damage. OC Deputy Collides with Car during Chase Through Ocoee

At an unspecified time on Friday, deputies with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a burglary at a home located along Sweet Heather Lane in Ocoee. While the specific details of the initial report on the burglary are not known, it seems that the deputies arrived in time to discover the burglars as they were starting to leave the home.
