One Dead after Single Car Crash in Volusia County

A crash that involved a single vehicle in Seville this past Sunday resulted in the death of one woman and the serious injury of two other individuals after the car in which they were traveling suddenly left the road.  The report from the Florida Highway Patrol members working inside of Volusia County does not provide much information regarding the specifics of the crash itself, and it is not clear if the car rolled over after leaving the road, if it collided with something on the road’s shoulder, or if something else perhaps occurred to ultimately cause the car to erupt into flames. Arrest Made in Connection in Fatal NYE Winter Park Crash

Police in Winter Park arrested a 28-year-old man this week in connection with an incident that took place on New Years Eve and resulted in the death of two young women. According to the official report from Sgt. Garvin McComie, a spokesperson for the Winter Park Police Department, the death of the two women occurred after the car they were sitting in was involved in a collision with another car. This second car, which was being driven by Fonner, the above-mentioned 28-year-old man, was traveling well above the limit at the time of the crash. Read the rest »

Two Killed after Car Overturns in Ocala National Forest

Wetherington and Livengood were traveling in Wetherington’s Chrysler 300 through the Ocala National Forest this past Friday when something occurred to cause the car they were in to crash. Single Car Crash in Orlando Leaves Three Dead

A horrific accident in Orlando last Tuesday has resulted in the death of three individuals, one of whom is believed to be a child. According to a spokesperson for the Orlando Police Department, Sgt. Bernal, an Orlando Police Department deputy was on routine patrol near Colonial Drive and Silverton Street when they were alarmed by an extremely loud crashing sound. Three Dead after Multi-Car Crash in Osceola County

A Friday evening crash in Osceola County has resulted in the death of at least three people after one of several cars involved erupted in flame. According to the initial report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash took place close to 9:20 at night at the intersection of Peavine Road and State Road 60. Shortly before the crash, a four-door Honda, being driven by the 22-year-old Kissimmee resident Garcia, was headed eastbound on State Road 60. In front of the Honda was a Jeep. Crash along I-95 in Viera Leaves Two Dead

A single-car crash that took place on Interstate 95 in Viera this past Friday resulted in the deaths of two people, according to the reports from various news sources, the Florida Highway Patrol, and the Wildlife Conservation Commission.  Because of the unusual nature of the crash, the event is still under investigation by detectives with the Florida Highway Patrol; however, enough of the details surrounding the crash have been made public that it is possible to reconstruct the majority of the circumstances contributing to the accident. Exploding Takata Air Bag Kills Florida Woman

A 34 year old Florida woman was killed by an exploding Takata air bag inflator following a recent car crash near Tampa. Although authorities have not confirmed the cause of death, all evidence points to the woman being the 19th person (and the 13th in the US) to have been killed by the malfunctioning Takata air bag.
