The report that was subsequently filed by the police details how the incident, which involved a Dodge pickup being driven by a 34-year-old woman from Chuluota and a 27-year-old Deltona man who was on foot, occurred at close to 5:30 in the morning, just as many people were beginning their work days. Coco Police Officer Strikes Pedestrian with Patrol Car
A police officer working for the Cocoa Police Department was on duty just after 9:00pm on Friday night when they received an emergency report of a suicide attempt that was in progress. The officer immediately responded to the call and began to speed towards the area indicated. As they made their way down the road, they approached the intersection of Lake Drive and Cleralake road. Around 5:45 on the morning of Wednesday, February 28th, a 20-year-old Orlando resident was on foot in the Orange County town of Pine Hills as she walked near the intersection of North Powers Drive and Silver Star Road.
