Pedestrian Killed while Crossing Orange Blossom Trail
A person driving a Jeep Cherokee down Orange Blossom Trail in Orange County was reportedly unable to avoid a collision with a pedestrian early on Sunday morning, an accident which resulted in the death of the pedestrian and a continuing investigation by members of the Florida Highway Patrol. Pregnant Woman Struck and Killed by Car in Pine Hills
Around 5:45 on the morning of Wednesday, February 28th, a 20-year-old Orlando resident was on foot in the Orange County town of Pine Hills as she walked near the intersection of North Powers Drive and Silver Star Road. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman was walking on the sidewalk before the condominium complex known as Oak Shadows when, for reasons that are not totally clear, she walked into the road. Four Teens Injured, One Killed in Apopka Crash
The Florida Highway Patrol has issued a report on a Thursday afternoon crash in the Orange County city of Apopka that resulted in numerous injuries and at least one fatality. The crash took place close to 5:00pm and involved only one vehicle. The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the incident and assisted with the initial investigation into the reasons behind the fatal crash. Truck Overturns on On-Ramp to Florida Turnpike
Last Monday, members of the Orange County Fire Rescue were called to the northbound lanes of State Road 429, right around where a connection ramp to the Florida Turnpike is located, in response to a reports of an overturned vehicle. When they arrived, they found a large truck on its side, seemingly having collided with the on-ramp’s guardrail.
