Motorcyclist Dies after Collision with Kissimmee Home

Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol in Osceola County are in the process of investigating an incident that took place a week ago near Kissimmee that left one individual dead after his motorcycle collided with a residence located near the intersection of Salsona Avenue and West Virginia Drive.  While many of the circumstances surrounding the incident are unclear, we do know that it was sometime during the morning of Sunday, March 25th, when a 30-year-old Kissimmee resident was riding a motorcycle down the southern lane of Salsona Avenue. Mount Dora Motorcyclist Dies after Rear-End Collision

Early in the morning of Sunday, April 1st, a motorcyclist from Mount Dora was riding down the westbound lane of State Road 46 when he approached the intersection of State Road 46 and State Road 453.  In front of the motorcyclist at this time was a Ford Fiesta being driven by a 33-year-old.  Behind the motorcycle was a Ford SUV being driven by a 24-year-old individual from Sorrento. Four Teens Arrested After Crashing Stolen Car in Oviedo

Four teenagers from Seminole County found themselves in the custody of Oviedo law enforcement after they stole a car and then crashed into a mailbox and a tree.  The report from the Florida Highway Patrol states that the incident began when an unnamed 17-year-old stole one of his father’s trucks from his Casselberry home.  It is not clear if the teenager was alone when he stole the car, but it is clear that soon there were four people in the car: the driver and three of his friends. Driver Wanted in Melbourne Hit-and-run That Injured Bicyclist

DUI Issued after Man Crashes Scooter in Palm Bay

A troubled man living in Palm Bay was arrested on DUI charges this past Thursday after reports came in to the Palm Bay Police Department about an individual who had crashed their motor scooter while trying to catch their dog that had previously jumped out of a paper sack. Read the rest »

Deadly Head-on Collision on Florida State Road 407

March 21, 2018

Two people were killed over the weekend following a head-on collision on State Road 407 and Interstate 95. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 55-year-old male was traveling northbound on State Road 407 in his 2016 Ford Edge. For a yet unknown reason, the vehicle moved into the southbound lanes, where it hit an oncoming 2000 Buick head on. In addition to a 55-year-old male driver, the Buick had two female passengers, ages 55 and 57. Read the rest »

Single Car Crash in Ocoee Results in Power Outage

A spokesperson for the Florida Highway Patrol issued a statement last Wednesday in reference to an incident that took place close to Ocoee in Orange County that resulted in one individual suffering from minor injuries and nearly 4,000 people without power to their homes.  The statement  does not fully explain the reasons behind the incident, but it is believed that this is because there is still an investigation underway. Motorcyclist Dies in Brevard County Collision with Semi

Early in the morning on last Sunday, March 11th, a man from Rockledge was riding on his motorcycle along I-95 in Brevard County when he collided with the rear of a semi truck.  The report from the Florida Highway Patrol that was issued later on that same day indicated that the accident resulted in the death of the motorcyclist and is still under investigation.
