Two Injured, One Killed in Late Night Crash in Palm Bay
On the night of Wednesday, June 20th, two men were riding motorcycles along the northbound lanes of Minton Road when they approached the intersection of this road and Hield Road. According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, the two motorcyclists were riding at a normal speed at close to 10:00 in the evening. One of the riders was a 33-year-old (driving a 2008 Kawasaki), and the other was 24 (driving a 2003 Suzuki). Both were Palm Bay residents. Read the rest »
Cyclist Dies in Lake County Hit-and-Run
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol are in the process of locating the driver behind a perceived hit-and-run that took place in Lake County sometime before 11:00 on the morning of Wednesday, June 20th. The information currently held by the troopers was compiled almost exclusively from the crash site, and as of yet it is not known if any witnesses to the incident have come forward to offer information about the collision. Deputy Hurt After Crashing Into Dead Animal in Brevard
A police officer working within Brevard County was on an official Brevard County Sheriff’s Office motorcycle on Thursday, May 10th, when he attempted to make a traffic stop. According to a report from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, the deputy was on duty and on patrol when he noticed a car behaving in a way that made him decide to pull the vehicle over. It was shortly before 3:30 in the afternoon on Friday, June 15th, when a motorcycle and a pickup truck were traveling down State Road 46 inside of Seminole County. At the time, the rain passing through the area was reaching a fairly high degree of intensity, making any driving difficult but riding a motorcycle particularly taxing.
