A crash in Osceola County this past Saturday night resulted in the death of a 36-year-old Kissimmee resident. The report from the Florida Highway Patrol gave the basic details of the case, although it did conclude with the admission that many facts are still unknown and that therefore an investigation is still underway to unearth all of the situation’s hidden elements. According to the report, Garcia was behind the wheel of his Jeep just after 10:00 at night. He was driving the car down the southbound lane of Bordeaux Road when something occurred to cause him to either lose control of the vehicle or purposefully swerve off of the road.
As the car bounced off of the asphalt, it became destabilized. Garcia was not able to fully resume control of the car and before he could do much to prevent further harm the Jeep flipped over. Garcia, who was not using his seat belt at the time of the incident, was thrown from the vehicle. Passing drivers saw the crash and stopped to help Garcia. 9-1-1 was called and police as well as other emergency teams quickly arrived at the area to help the man.
When the paramedics arrived, Garcia was still alive, but it is not known just how responsive the man was. It was ascertained that he was in critical condition, and the paramedics carefully loaded him into an ambulance and rushed him to Poinciana Medical Center. The report from the Florida Highway Patrol did not specify just how long Garcia was at the hospital, but it is known that it was while he was in the medical facility’s care that he died.
Currently, the Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause or causes of the crash. It is not believed that any other cars or people were involved either directly or indirectly in the incident and so the investigation is focused on the roadway and the events inside of Garcia’s car shortly before the crash took place. While it is difficult in such cases for authorities to completely reconstruct the events, there are a surprising number of facts that can be gleaned by talented detectives and forensic experts.
