Bicyclist Killed in Coral Gables Hit and Run Accident
Last month, a bicyclist was killed in a hit and run accident in Coral Gables, Florida. A police officer was driving on Bird Road when he saw the body, at about 30 seconds to a minute after the crash happened, by police estimates. The victim’s bicycle was found about four blocks away from his body, and police believe the driver had to remove the bicycle from under the vehicle to continue driving.

Two People Hospitalized in Orlando Hit-and-Run Accident
Orlando police believe that illegal street racing may have been a factor in a recent hit-and-run accident that sent two people to an area hospital with serious injuries. Their investigation is still ongoing, but police say that the two victims were waiting for a bus along Millenia Boulevard when a Ford Focus struck them as they sat on a bench. The victims are a vacationing couple from England, who were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. Witnesses report that they saw a black Ford Focus and black Honda Accord speeding along Millenia Boulevard just before the accident occurred.
