Ten People Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Orlando Accident Involving Lynx Bus
Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a recent multi-vehicle Orlando auto accident involving a Lynx bus and two other vehicles that sent ten people to area hospitals. Troopers say the accident occurred on south Rio Grande Avenue when a 1996 Pontiac Grand Am driven by an 18-year-old Orlando woman drove onto Rio Grande Avenue from 42nd Avenue. Troopers report that the driver of the Grand Am was westbound on 42nd Avenue when she sped out from a stop sign and drove into the path of the Lynx bus. They say that the driver of the bus tried to take evasive action but had no time to stop. Her bus collided with the Grand Am and pushed it into a 2002 Pontiac driven by a 61-year-old Orlando woman.
