Fatal Collision with Front-End Loader in Volusia County
A statement from the Florida Highway Patrol released on Wednesday, May 23rd, reported on an incident that took place earlier on that same morning along U.S. 92 in Volusia County. According to this statement, a woman who was not named was behind the wheel of a 2015 Dodge Dart as she approached Brick Road. It was close to 8:30 in the morning, and at the same time as the woman in the Dart closed in on the intersection she also closed in on a front-end loader/tractor that was making its way down the road at a much slower pace. Two Florida Trucking Accidents Close Nearly All Lanes of Interstate 95
Two separate accidents involving tractor-trailers closed nearly all northbound and all southbound lanes of Interstate 95 near Palm Beach recently and sent three people to area hospitals with undisclosed injuries. The first accident occurred around 9:31 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-95 near 45th Street when a sudden downpour caused a chain reaction accident in very heavy traffic. Florida Highway Patrol troopers are still conducting their investigation, but they say that this accident involved at least five passenger vehicles and a tractor-trailer. Two people were injured in this chain reaction trucking accident.
