Orlando Motorcyclist Killed in Car Accident
An Orlando-area motorcyclist was killed this week when a car pulled out in front of him. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the 55-year-old motorcyclist was driving his 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle south on Orlando’s Goldenrod Road. As he approached Pershing Avenue, a Toyota pickup truck making a U-turn pulled out in front of him. The motorcyclist crashed directly into the truck and died at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, a 44-year-old female from Kissimmee, Florida, was taken to Florida Hospital East for treatment to minor injuries.
Two Pedestrians Hit while Crossing State Road 436 in Orange County
The Florida Highway Patrol recently responded to a pedestrian accident that happened along State Road 436 in Orange County on Wednesday, August 8th, that resulted in the severe injury of two individuals who were on foot. It seems that these people, a 21-year-old and a 28-year-old, were both from the state of New Jersey and that they were walking along State Road 436 when they decided to cross the street.
Orange County Fire Truck Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver
On Thursday, August 9th, members of the Orange County Fire Rescue team were part of the numerous emergency response individuals who responded to reports of an auto accident that had taken place along State Road 408, close to where the Alafaya Trail exit branches off of the roadway. Reports around the initial accident that resulted in the presence of emergency vehicles are not readily available, however the incident developed in an unusual way that has been recorded and reported on by both news agencies and the authorities involved.
Possible Hit-and-Run Under Investigation in Orange County
Members of the Florida Highway Patrol are among those investigating an incident that may or may not be a hit-and-run accident that happened on Wednesday, August 8th, along Old Cheney Highway in Orange County. Reports relating to the incident suggest that the Florida Highway Patrol first became involved in the incident after they were alerted by an unknown person regarding the presence of a man suffering from an apparent overdose along the side of the road.
Woman Behind Deadly Hit-and-Run in Volusia County Located
On the morning of Wednesday, August 1st, the Florida Highway Patrol received reports of a hit-and-run accident that had taken place along the northbound lanes of Enterprise Road, close to where this street intersects with Volusia Avenue. A report from Sgt. Kim Montes, the spokesperson for the Florida Highway Patrol, indicates that the call came in from a witness to the crash and that this witness provided the police with comprehensive details around the incident.
Three Car Crash in Orange County Results in Numerous Injuries
Numerous people were injured and hospitalized after an incident that happened this past Wednesday in Orange County. According to reports from the Orange County Fire Rescue service, it was close to 8:00 in the evening when numerous vehicles became helplessly intertwined along Narcoossee Road, close to where this street crosses Sanctuary Crossing Road. While the report from the Orange County Fire Rescue did not offer many details relating to the circumstances around the collision, it does seem apparent that the auto accident was a serious one and that numerous people suffered from injuries as a result.
Three Injured in Two-vehicle Florida Crash
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, a two-car crash left three people injured. The July 31st accident happened at the intersection of Highway 27 and Highway 98 in Frostproof, Florida. Based on the police report, it seems that a 35-year-old female was driving her 2000 Pontiac Sunfire west on Highway 98 and, while attempting to turn left onto Highway 27 south, ran through a red light. As she went through the intersection, she was struck on the driver’s side by an oncoming white 2017 Nissan Rogue driven by a 26-year-old male.

Suspected Road Rage Leaves One Dead in Brevard County
The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is actively looking for the driver of a red car that was involved in a fatal Orlando area crash last weekend. The vehicle, which fled the scene, may be a Dodge Charger, although FHP cannot confirm that. Based on witness accounts, the vehicle has an ‘Endless Summer’ style license plate and a bumper sticker that says ‘Hammock Hippy’. Read the rest »
