7,000 Pound Metal Pipe Crushes Van’s Roof
Last weekend, as 33-year-old male from Kissimmee, Florida was driving a Mack truck loaded with scrap metal was negotiating a curve on Interstate 4 near the State Road 528 exit, he somehow lost control of his truck. The truck swerved, hit the guardrail and overturned. The impact caused a nearly 7,000 pound metal pipe that the truck was carrying to fly off and tumble off the overpass, where some landed directly on the roof of a Pontiac van being driven by a 36 year old Orlando native.
8-Year-Old Dead after SUV Flips in St. Cloud
An SUV carrying eight people flipped over while travelling along U.S. 192 in Osceola County late Sunday night. According to the Florida Highway Patrol’s report, the crash occurred around 11:45 p.m., close to where U.S. 192 intersects with Deer Park Road. Based on the evidence they have been able to compile, the Florida Highway Patrol stated that an unnamed 40-year-old woman was behind the wheel of a 2002 Toyota Sequoia when the treads on one of the rear tires suddenly separated.

A Friday afternoon accident on a Marion County stretch of I-75 has resulted in the death of at least one individual, the hospitalization of several others, and a traffic jam that stretched for miles. St. Lucie Man Struck and Killed on Interstate 95
On Tuesday, a man was struck and killed by a passing car while attempting to help a family trapped in their SUV after an accident on a Volusia County stretch of Interstate 95. According to Sgt. Kim Montes, spokesperson for the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident occurred close to mile marker 277. A red car of unknown make was traveling northbound around 1:30 in the morning when it attempted to change lanes. In doing so, the driver of the red car either failed to calculate, or simply did not care about, the distance between it and the Toyota SUV located in the new lane.
