FHP Searching for Driver Behind Orlando Hit-and-Run
Early on Friday morning, near the intersection of Hoffner Avenue and Redditt Road in Orlando, a young woman was walking along the shoulder of the street when she was struck and killed by a passing car. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman, the 21-year-old Jessica Esteras, was an Orlando resident. It is believed that the car collided with her sometime around 3:30 in the morning. At the scene of the accident, the Florida Highway Patrol reported that a side-view-mirror and some other fragments were found.
