One Dead, Three Injured in DUI Crash in Marion County
A severe drunk driver crash that took place in Marion County on Saturday, December 15th, resulted in the death of one person as well as the injury of three others. According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident happened close to 9:30 at night, and involved two cars: a 1991 GMC Sierra and a 2006 Toyota Scion.

The social media device FaceTime became an essential tool for a Pasco County man who was frantically trying to locate his missing daughter at the end of August. According to reports from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, the man returned home from work on Tuesday, August 28th, to find that both his child and the person watching the child were no longer in the home.
Osceola County Dispatcher Given DUI After Crashing into Ditch
An individual deployed as an emergency response dispatcher for the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office made a few unfortunate decisions while saddened over some pictures he saw on social media of his ex-wife. According to reports from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the dispatcher had seen the pictures at some point during the day on Tuesday, July 2nd. The dispatcher told the officers that he had Googled his ex-wife’s name and that this search took him to her Instagram page. On this page were pictures of his ex-wife with another man, and after seeing these pictures the dispatcher became very sad.
DUI Issued for Florida Man Who Only Drank at Stop Signs
Towards the end of June, on the 27th, police working within Indian County town of Vero Beach were notified by an alarmed motorist regarding another driver who seemed to be operating their car in an unsafe manner. Police working in Boynton Beach were handed an unusually easy DUI arrest this past Sunday after an inebriated man approached them to ask for directions. According to initial reports, the incident began after the Boynton Beach Police Department had pulled over a car as part of a routine traffic stop. The reports issued around the incident do not indicate just what the initial traffic stop was in relation to, and it is not clear just how that first interaction ended. Ocala Mom En Route to Get Kids, Arrested on DUI Charges
A woman in Ocala is currently facing DUI charges after deputies arrested her while she made her way to retrieve her children from a local school. The official report from deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office indicates that they were alerted by a witness to the woman’s driving. This witness told the deputies that a tan Acura was driving in an erratic pattern down the road, weaving in and out of lanes, and at one point leaving its lane entirely and traveling down the incorrect side of the highway for a sustained period of time.
