One Teen Dead After Car Swerves Off Road and Crashes in Brevard County
A fatal car crash in Brevard County remains under investigation by members of the Florida Highway Patrol working within the county limits. The crash itself took place along a stretch of Interstate 95 within Brevard County, close to the 162 mile marker. Involved in the collision were an 18-year-old driver from Coral Springs and their 16-year-old passenger. DUI Charge for Individual Who Rear-Ended Police Vehicle in Palm Bay
A police officer with the Palm Bay Police Department was sitting at a red light while on duty within the city of Palm Bay during the evening of Tuesday, February 16th, when their car was struck from behind by another vehicle. The officer, believed to be on routine patrol, had stopped at the light and was waiting for the red to change to green so that he could clear the intersection when the second vehicle, a grey sedan, approached from behind. Marion County Pedestrian Accident Kills 20-Year-Old Ocala Resident
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol are involved in an investigation into a pedestrian accident that took place on Sunday, March 14th, and resulted in the death of a 20-year-old Ocala resident. According to the reports currently issued by the FHP, the incident began early in the morning on the Sunday in question. At this time, it is believed that the woman was on foot and walking near to the intersection of U.S. 441 and Southeast 45th Street. The reports remain tight-lipped on what exactly the Florida Highway Patrol believes took place, but it appears as though the person attempted to cross the street at this intersection at the same time that a car was traveling through the area.
